About This Project
The Clients brief was for us to design a scheme to maximise the potential of this existing property in Ilkley. The existing property will need substantial modification, particularly to the existing first floor and roof space to create the additional usable floor space required for the new flats.
Following discussions with the Client and Planners various scheme proposals were drawn up. The accommodation will consist of 6no. new 1 bed flats with an open plan Living, Kitchen and Dining Area. This project has been a real challenge so far as the scale of the development was a particular worry for the Client but they are prepared to take a risk for a successful outcome.
A Planning Application will hopefully be submitted to the City of Bradford MDC mid 2014.
The second part of the project is the possibility of a new detached dwelling to the bottom end of the site which would create a two bedroom bungalow with an open plan Living, Kitchen and Dining Area.
